meet "fritz"
At first he was not very interested in having his clothes removed for nakey baby pictures. In fact, I was actually afraid to remove his clothes starting off. For fear that our sleep time would be over…. π Fortunately he got all nice and cozy and warm. And let me have my way! For some reason the babies this week have not wanted any tummy poses. Usually I will have one or two who just say NO to tummy poses. But all of them? I think it was a bit of a baby conspiracy. π I just love the look of this shot….the mix between his sweet little baby clothes and his adorable little newborn face. I will have to admit that I was quite enthralled with his delicate baby features. Peace and love ♥ anya
meet ella
Another beautiful baby girl! Ella is having a mini-sneak peek because she will have more images added to my blog later on this week when we add some daddy and mommy shots to the mix. The weather had been NUTS this last week, hasn’t it? It is supposed to be spring. Just say yes to babies and NO to snow!!!!! and another play with my angel lace wrap which I LOVE and is so soft and beautiful with baby skin!
meet elissa grace
Isn’t she adorable? All 9 plus pounds of her! What a beautiful healthy little baby girl!!! By the time the weekend is through I will have added 3 more gorgeous babes to this blog… There must have been something in the water at the end of March.
meet Eden…and her big sister Evelyn
It is going to be one crazy newborn fiesta this week as I have 3 (yes, 3!) more newbies to photograph this week and one that I think is still in mama’s belly waiting to arrive π This big sister could not WAIT to be photographed with her little baby sister. To top it off, she showed me some acrobatics on my beanbag that I am hoping (cross my fingers) my Annika and Rowan never figure out. Otherwise we will probably spend a lot more time than we already do at the “Doctor Store”….as Annika refers to the Emergency Room. LOL! Snug as a bug in a rug! Daddy’s little girl…. A little mommy love…. Peace and Love ♥ Anya
meet dylan
Meet beautiful 2 + week old Dylan. He was such a charmer! And that HAIR! Oh my goodness, isn’t it just sniffable??? And I had to post this one. There is nothing like a good cute doggie image to make me smile. π
the divine miss M…and random parenting musings….
*whew*…it has been a complete whirlwind of a last few months with lots of newborns and LOTS of changes in store. I will update more on that a bit later π I was lucky enough to spend my Saturday with this little cutie who came all the way from Minnesota to visit her cousin Jaxon and have her one year old photos taken by me! What a complete honor π Maddi definitely put me to work, and I believe that I actually did leave with some red ladybug frosting on my rear. I will secretly admit that it smells WAY better than baby poo….which is what I typically have on my pants when I come home. And a side note on a parenting experience I had this morning. I remember a time in my children’s lives when passing a McDonalds made me cringe because my wee ones, before they were even speaking, could recognize the brilliant branding of those golden arches. Well fear no longer. Now it is Starbucks that my little Rowan recognizes. Yes, Starbucks. Not only does he recognize it, he knows its exact location. And can point the way. As he did this morning when I was…
my blog has a fever . . .
and the only prescription….. is more cow bell. π So if you have tried to post comments, etc…. and it isn’t working or you don’t see your comment…or your comment suddenly came out in some odd language, I apologize. I may have to move my blog to another domain so that I can keep my lovely website while at the same time have this blog (very long story). And if you don’t quite get my cow bell reference or want a good laugh, see link below π One of my fave skits of all times….seriously….I have watched it probably 20 plus times and I still laugh my *&^ off. More Cow Bell peace, love, and cow bell ♥ anya
mia take 2 | our day in poo
π I am a poet and didn’t know it!!!! If I sound a bit wacky today it is because I am seriously high on paint fumes from the hubs painting the living room. I am lucky that he actually agreed to do it because *usually* he tries to turn me down. For the simple reason that I have the habit of changing my mind. After he paints. One time he had to do two walls with three different colors before I got it right. What can I say? I am a perfectionist at the visual. Ok, back to Mia. She wins the award this year for most poop and pee in one photo session. YAY!!!! Fortunately it was all on mom and dad…none on me π Triple YAY! Here she is smiling away…..knowing that pretty soon daddy will be dripping in pee All cuddled up with mommy…. And because I know mommy will appreciate this….she appears to be saying….”seriously dad, WTF”??? For those less acronym inclined, I won’t translate that as this is a PG rated blog…… peace and much love ♥ anya
meet delaney
beautiful baby girl #2 that I got to spend the day with this week. I swear I could stare at babies for hours. And never get bored. Which is probably why I am ever so in love with this job of mine. I get to cuddle and play with babies for a few hours and then hand them back! Plus I actually get to sleep all night. If I could just convince my kids that they are now SUPPOSED to let me sleep all night. I added the last image in special for the labor and delivery nurses at a certain hospital here in town π This image cracks me up!
a mini sneak…of baby mia
Baby Mia could have been inducted into my own family for her feisty personality and determination to explore the world on her terms and her terms ONLY. She is a girl after my own heart π More to come very soon. For some reason my asthma decided to act up as I was leaving her session and I ended up with some lovely IV steroids and nebulizer treatments. I can definitely say that I, for one, will not be sad to see this winter end and for spring to begin! peace and love ♥ anya
