Oh where oh where has little anya been?
Needless to say it is a very long, drawn out, probably exceedingly boring story about the journey life takes us when we least expect it. However, the million dollar question seems to be…… “Are you still taking clients”? And the answer is YES! I am still taking clients. And I am going to show off some of the gorgeous clients I have taken on…. starting with one of my fave little men, Nadav. I had the pleasure of photographing him at 6 months of age and was blessed once again when he turned one….. and he is so expressive I could just eat him up with marmalade and toast!!! (well and maybe a little peanut butter)… 😉

Hello dear blog readers! I am writing to let everyone know that I have decided to take a bit of time off. I did not realize how significantly I would be affected by our move up north. Having kids at home all the time through the summer, reorganizing a new house, hubby having a new job, getting the kids settled in their various new schools, etc….. has required me to be so busy with my home life that I am unable to find the time for a professional life. I will be compiling a waiting list for clients who would like sessions after October, 2009. Current clients of mine who have already discussed sessions with me do not need to worry 🙂 I will still be photographing your family/wee ones as promised. Alas I have no image to post as all of my images are on my Mac which is currently being utilized as a kiddy daycare. peace and much love ♥ anya

Yup, you read that right. I am moving. Well, actually, I already moved. To the east side…..of Wausau, Wisconsin. To a deluxe castle-home in the north-woods. Filled with deer, wild turkey, bears, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and various ground squirrel and mouse that our cat-hunter decides to bring home as a “present”. So what does that mean for my lovely Madison clients???? It means that once a month I schedule Madison sessions!!!! Or at a discounted price you can come up to me and have your photographs taken in my beautiful prairie and woods OR in my lovely natural light home studio. Just contact me for details. Meet itty bitty Kaitlyn who was also born early! Her mommy graduates from medical school on Friday. Congratulations!!!! What a fantabulous year 🙂 (my spell checker says fantabulous is not a word….I respectfully disagree). Needless to say, Kaitlyn had bunnies hopping around her house….yes, actual LIVE bunnies. My kids are uber jealous of me today. Wittle tiny man from Friday. He is an early bird as he wasn’t due to hatch for 4 more weeks! I am bone tired from a weekend of trying to heal our wounded doggie. She had surgery two weeks ago, developed a very bad complication, was on the verge of us having to put her down on Friday evening 🙁 , but now seems to be a bit on the mend. Fingers crossed!!! I will try to post photos of her and the kids very soon. First the cute baby….I get to spend tomorrow with another wittle early bird too…YAY! This one cracked me up! This is why I LOVE spending time with the wee ones….they all have their own little personalities….each one different, each one beautiful….. peace and much love ♥ anya

A few more of baby ella and her awesome family. I have been dying to do an image of a daddy with a tattoo and his baby. This daddy has a rockin’ tattoo and loves his little baby girl to pieces 🙂 I have to give a HUGE shout out to my AWESOME dad’s who have bravely bared their chests for me to photograph them with their wee loves. There is honestly nothing that melts any mama’s heart more than seeing her man loving their baby. 🙂 And just for fun, I will let everyone in on my super top secret photo editing music collection….. Kate and her family travelled all the way from Rockford, Illinois to spend the morning with me. She loved having her arms like this. Who was photographed at the perfect time for mid-year baby photos. 6 months! When babies can sit up on their own (or minimally supported) but can’t crawl or walk away yet. I am just in love with his smoochy little happy doll face!!! And those eyes…..I just had to have at least one in color. To show off the gorgeous color of his beautiful eyes. He is such a chub a bub that he even has his own nose brow!!!! Yum-o! My second 9 lb’er this week 🙂 The funny thing was that he was IN LOVE with this position.
