I just can't stop . . . | madison wisconsin pregnancy photographer
Going through these images! Holy cow, I could probably show this whole session on my blog! Sooooo if some more show up, you will know that my kids are going to be wearing dirty clothes to school tomorrow and I have a sink full of dirty dishes. Because instead of doing my household tasks I was busy playing around and having fun on my computer! π I cannot WAIT to photograph your little bundle, guys! What a blast that is going to be π
Isn't she . . . Pretty in Pink? | madison wisconsin baby photographer
And yes, I am thinking Psychedelic Furs song….as well as movie, with Molly Ringwald . . . am I dating myself? LOL! Lovely 4 week old and her bro from out of town. I am so in love with this pink shot. It feels so soft and yummy and girly to me. I am usually not that much into color. In fact I really specialize in doing black and white artsy shots. But I just had to get that “handmade by gramma” blankie in color! Scroll on down and you will see the always coveted but ever so elusive sibling shot. They always crack me up because they never come out how parents dream. But they are always cute, regardless.
Angel
That is what I think every time I look at this image. Her tiny little mouth, her curled little eyelashes, the way the pink in the blanket brings out that beautiful newborn skin tone. This image draws in my heart and holds it close. Which is how I feel about photographing babies. In every image I create with them, there is a little piece of my heart. Click image to view larger
Beautiful belly. . . | madison wisconsin maternity photographer
I knew I would love these images before I even shot them. There is something so beautiful about directional light and a pregnant belly. It was difficult to pick which images to even show on my blog because there are so many that I love. I feel like I want to show the entire gallery π But I will leave you with these 4. Enjoy! I cannot wait to photograph the surprise baby inside this bump!
I'm still free, take a chance on me!
I have a few openings for newborns and maternity/newborn combo’s in 2008! September 2 openings 1 opening October 3 openings November 3 openings December 2 openings Once these fill up, I am done for this year π Enjoy my 70’s flashback…..the hubs and I have been lamely dancing around to ABBA since last week when we saw Mama Mia at the Sundance Theatre. Needless to say, there has been a lot of hiding the eyes and plugging of ears around my house. The good news is that Annika can now belt out almost all of the words to the song Mama Mia. Its a good thing because I was getting a little tired of the Hairspray soundtrack. She does quite a rousing rendition of Good Morning Baltimore….or as she sings in, "Good Morning Voldemort". Yes, that is my girl! Reminds me that I used to sing "I am woman, I am a vegetable". Ahhh, yes, I did quite the brilliant Helen Reddy cover π
Fun "urban" Hip Maternity! (with a little baby on the side) | madison wisconsin pregnancy photographer
I had the best time doing these maternity shots….and such a FUN willing model π These are from earlier in the summer…..in fact I have already photographed the “bun” featured. She is below, all snuggled up with her daddy, who has probably acquired an agent at this point so he can drop his current career and become a professional baby daddy model! Enjoy, “M”, I am working diligently on your gallery…..as I took soooooo many images of you guys it isn’t even funny….LOL!
Score! | madison wisconsin newborn twin photographer
Is it ok to high five yourself? Beautiful twin girls from this morning. Boy did their mama and I ever have fun. Good thing these are babies 3 and 4 for her. Because my kids were in rare form this morning. Especially Rowan….trying to jump on each of these little twinkies while we were trying to get them to sleep. Please excuse the “smallness” of these landscape photos. I am getting a new blog soon that will allow for much larger images. So they can be enjoyed how they were meant to be enjoyed…HUGE! π
Talk to the hand. . . | madison wisconsin baby photographer
That is what this little diva baby was sayin’ to me. I was literally laughing out loud as I was editing these. Anyone who knows me knows a) how much I love babies, and b) how much I LOVE a baby with a personality. This little princess slept almost the entire session but she did show me some of her “diva moves”, even as she slept! …fortunately, she saved the best move for mom and dad, though….projectile pooping and peeing whilst changing the diaper (photos not included). π The color shot is just for you, mama!
All this cute!!! | madison wisconsin newborn photography
From the baby we all thought would never go to sleep π This poor mama struggled and struggled trying to get this little girl to sleep. And just like a girl, she did NOT want to cooperate (baby, not mom….lol!). The reward for all of that work (and sweat….because it is WAY hot at a newborn shoot) is this:
Babypalooza baby #3 | madison wisconsin baby and child photographer
The “A” man and his big brother “H”. “H” shows some remarkable talent for newborn photography as the shot below of him displays. I really wish I had a lens on that could have backed the shot out more. He was photographing away, right next to me. Baby “A” had minimal interest in his photo session. Fortunately I have staying power. These babies have NO power over me…..eventually ALL babies must sleep, right? Right.
