Waiting . . . | madison wisconsin baby photographer
For his ship to come in. Probably the one with sunscreen on board. Because mom forgot it. Yes, I think I may get the mother of the year award this year after all! I have more babies to be posted soon . . . But this one is my baby. Don’t ya just love that little bouncy curl in back. I cannot for the life of me bare to cut his hair!
#2 in my Babypalooza series . . . | madison wisconsin newborn photography
Teeny tiny baby girl. Little baby “L”. Isn’t she just the most precious thing? She literally slept the whole time. Which is unheard of. What a little doll!
Babypalooza! | madison wisconsin baby photographer
The first of what will be many baby posts in the next day or two. Beautiful baby “B”. My first in a string of GIRLS! I seem to have writers block this morning. Probably the ridiculous sunburn I acquired by not putting on sunscreen during our day at the beach yesterday. And yes, here in Wisconsin we do actually have beaches…along the shores of Lake Michigan. They may not be surf-able but at least we don’t have to worry about sharks!
They say it's his birthday . . . | madison wisconsin baby photographer
My wee babe turns 2 today! It is hard to believe that it has been two years since he has been born. He brings so much joy into everyone’s lives everyday. We can’t imagine our lives without him. On his first birthday he was afraid of his smash cake and pretty much cried when we put it in front of him. This year he dug right on in! I was fortunate enough to capture one picture of it….before it was destroyed. Hopefully since we ate the cake at lunch time the sugar rush will end by bedtime. We shall see. . .
Mr. "Z" Man. . .
Despite being a Mr. Fussy Pants during his photo session, I think I managed to capture TONS of newborn yumminess out of him 🙂 There isn’t much to say except……”Awwww”…. …although this first one keeps making me sing, “he’s as sweet as Tupelo Honey” *grin* (and yes, I know the “he” is supposed to be “she” in the song). Enjoy!
The many expressions of "M"
I definitely got my workout in today. And on my “rest” day to boot! The hubby and I are two weeks into Tony Horton’s 10 minute trainer. Which is really mis-titled because in order to truly see results you need to do 30 minutes per day, 6 days a week. Which we have been working on. Fortunately I can still walk…because these work outs are kicking my rump! Anyhow, here are the many expressions of “M”. Who kept me on my toes this morning. And yes, my house was still intact when I arrived home. I had a great time with you guys today! “M”, I hope you were able to find some great cars at Super Target….my home away from home! Here is just a little peek at what we captured 🙂
Meet Oakley . . .
Look who I got to spend my morning with. An adorable little baby boy and his adorable older brother. Despite the lighting outdoors being questionable, we were able to harness some of its power and capture some beautiful images! There are plenty more where these came from 🙂
All you need is love . . . .
To create a beautiful family. Meet baby Anya. Yes, you read that right. This baby’s name is Anya. Gorgeous, isn’t it? And born in June (just like me) to boot! I had so much fun hanging out with you guys at my house yesterday. The light was perfect, the mood was beautiful….all that is needed to create beautiful images. I have so many images that I don’t even know where to begin. So I will post the ones that just immediately caught my eye and said “please edit me”! Trust me, though, there are plenty more.
"O" Baby. . .
Some more of Mr. Owen. Because I can’t resist a cute baby…Owen had 2 photo sessions! I usually don’t do a lot of color because I specialize more in black and white images. It takes a lot of learning and effort to get black and white images in correct tones so they look like film. Which is ultimately my goal. Because I love how film looks but hate sending it to someone else to develop. And I cannot imagine having a darkroom in my house with all my kids. But today I wanted to do something different. And fun! So here he is in all his colorful glory 🙂
Eaten Alive. . .
By mosquitos, that is. Today we went to shoot Jennifer’s head shots at Olbrich and all of us were being eaten alive by the mosquitos! It blows my mind that there are so many mosquitos this early in the summer, but with all of the flooding and standing water they are having a proverbial baby boom. Thank goodness for Jennifer’s hubby who saved the day with bug spray. And we soldiered on. . . . It was worth it! If you need some help in the marketing/biz department, Jennifer is your girl. (jenniferbraun@verizon.net). Can everyone tell I have been super duper busy lately? And I still have 3 shoots left to do in the next week!
