meet Owen. The first baby to ever pee in my face. I am sure that when his parents read this, they will be rather surprised. Me, being me, did not utter a word. I proceeded to clean myself up (unscented baby wipes and clean burp cloths rock) and continue photographing this little handsome man. I swear, he has the most kissable lips I have EVER seen. Smooch! peace, much love, and kissable baby toesies ♥ anya

confessions of a blog slacker … | madison wisconsin newborn portraits

By Anya Wait | March 28, 2012

Ok so I readily admit that I have seriously slacked off in blogging lately. For the most part because I have literally photographed so many babies that I think I permanently SMELL like baby (not a bad smell, mind you). Another reason being, have you noticed the weather outside in Wisconsin lately? All I want to do these days is be outside! Here is baby #1 from what will hopefully be a baby a day (or perhaps 2 babies a day) for the next week or so. Meet Emily, at 4 weeks old she was an absolute wonder baby to photograph. peace, much love, and baby cuddles ♥ anya

another beautiful belly … | verona wisconsin pregnancy portraits

By Anya Wait | February 21, 2012

I will have to admit that I was pretty excited about this session. I have never had a belly session where a friend specifically requested a date based on her best friend being in town JUST so her best freind could be included in some of her photographs. How could I resist? Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of this sweet moment (said friend had just come in on a flight and was completely unaware … hence a few sweet tears were shed). You are beautiful and I cannot wait to photograph this wee peanut inside. peace, much love, and beautiful belly hugs ♥ anya

grace | middleton wisconsin newborn photography

By Anya Wait | January 8, 2012

I photographed little baby Grace at 4 weeks of age, much older than my typical newborn who is usually only 6-9 days old. First I was greeted at the door by her awesome brother who immediately hugged my leg (LOVE), and then Grace proved to be both amazingly cooperative and beautifully graceful 😉 One of my hands down absolute favorite sibling images peace, much love, and baby brother snuggles ♥ anya
