Personality
When I was shooting this twin session I found it difficult to tell the difference between these two. I kept getting one confused with the other. However as I am now editing the photos from their session I am noticing some distinct differences. Namely, their personalities. Can you tell which one will be the quiet one and which one is going to give his brothers and sister a total run for their money?
Blessings x two
Here are a couple of blessings I had the pleasure of photographing yesterday. A huge thanks to the family who put up with me for almost 3 hours…..and those were some very hot hours….LOL! For those that don’t know, I have families turn up the heat to 75 degrees for newborn photography. Just to make sure those new little babies don’t get cold. The babies are always comfy and cozy. The families……not so much. I had so much fun at this session!
Just a girl in her party dress….
Jen, just to tide you over. Here is one of Amina in her party dress. I would have more finished but Photoshop decided to crash on me yesterday and I spent half the afternoon trying to fix it. Fortunately it is up and running again, and I still have some of my hair left on my head.
No parking baby……..
Just a few fun images of my own kids! I can’t believe I actually got them to do some fun stuff. Usually it is complaining and making totally lame faces. And cooperate together…..unheard of! But they loved this location. So here are just a few from today. Annika is busy standing at the computer begging me to go back to editing because she loves the biggest circle of the burn tool in photoshop….”make the circle bigger, mommy”….although I cannot fathom what would be that huge that would need to be burned in…… (those of you who are photogs will understand what I mean…lol).
For Daddy….
Who is on call today 🙁 Rowan doing what Rowan’s do best…..eat and watch show’s (well, that isn’t all that Rowan’s do best, but it is all he will let me take pictures of him doing). LOL! Rowan does not pose for the camera.
Attack of the Cute Baby!
Amina, 5 months old…..she is obviously so over me and that weird black thing in front of my face. In that last pic, doesn’t she look like a throwback from the 60’s…..gettin’ ready to go out in the rain…with rollers in her hair….LOL! Hilarious!!!!
I have a Secret!
I just spent the weekend in San Francisco at The Secret Workshop with photographer’s Cheryl Muhr of Cheryl Muhr Photography and Barb Uil (aka Jinky) of Jinky Art !!! I missed my kids and family horribly, but I did learn some fun new tricks on taking my photography to the next level. Want to know what the biggest secret I learned was??? That *I* LOVE baby’s! Shocking, isn’t it? Here are some photos of a baby I secretly found in the studio when I was trying to escape from the hubub of group shooting. Isn’t he adorable???
Got Multiples?
I am looking for some sets of multiples to photograph. If you are pregnant with multiples (twins, triplets, you name it!), I would love to hear from you! Because of the nature of newborn photography babies must be between the ages of 3 to 10 days post-birth. Sessions take place in the morning and begin at 9 am. Sessions often can last between 2-3 hours so plenty of time is given for feeding, changing and lots of cuddles! You receive a free newborn photo session as well as a beautiful 5 x 7 session album with 12 professionally edited images from your session (valued at over $300). This is a limited time offer so act fast before all these sessions get booked!
New Offering!
This is my new product offering for the pregnant mama. A 7 x 7 soft cover flip book that comes with your Belly to Baby package. One-half of the book is of your maternity images, flip the book over and the other half is your newborn images! How cool is that? Here is a little sneak peek:
