When I was pregnant with my first baby, I wished I had someone experienced by my side—someone who could answer my questions, calm my fears, and help me trust myself.

That experience is what led me to this work.

I began supporting growing families shortly after my first child was born in 1991, and for more than 30 years I've had the privilege of walking alongside parents through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

As a Madison birth doula and Madison postpartum doula, I've supported more than 1,000 families in hospitals, birth centers, and home births throughout Madison, WI, and the surrounding communities. My perspective is shaped by my experience as a midwife, birth photographer, doula, and the wife of an OB/GYN. Those experiences allow me to understand birth from many different angles while always keeping the focus where it belongs—on you.
